The Reverend Dr Malcolm Guite is an English poet, singer-songwriter, Anglican priest, and academic. He has degrees from Cambridge and Durham universities; his research includes the intersection of religion and the arts. Guite is currently a bye-fellow and chaplain of Girton College, Cambridge and associate chaplain of St Edward King and Martyr in Cambridge. He is the author of books of poetry, and books on Christian faith and theology. Many of his poems are sonnets in which seeks to "be profound without ceasing to be beautiful." The poems presented here are from Sounding the Seasons: Seventy Sonnets for the Christian Year (Norwich: Canterbury Press, 2012).

Doug Blanchard's work includes 24 pictures of Jesus' Passion publshed in The Passion of Christ: A Gay Vision. (Berkeley: Apocryphal Press, 2014). "Christ is one of us in my pictures," says Blanchard. "In His sufferings, I want to show Him as someone who experiences and understands fully what it is like to be an unwelcome outsider." Blanchard, an art professor, used the series to grapple with his own faith struggles as a New Yorker who witnessed the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Chorales from J. S. Bach's St Matthew Passion (BWV 244, 1727) are our music for Holy Week. They are from a variety of performers, each with their own style.
