Easter Day comes too soon after Good Friday. I rarely assimilate the words and music of the Friday before the Easter celebration is upon us.

Jesus gave just one sign, the sign of the prophet Jonah, who was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish. Perhaps we need that long between death and resurrection.

(It can be argued that Jesus did not die on Friday, but Wednesday).
