In church some time ago, our Rector, the Revd Rebecca Newland, showed the children this picture that she had painted. They were quick to say what was wrong with it! Rebecca’s point was that God is relaxed about the fact that we make mistakes; God wants us not to be error-free, but faithful. This was helpful to me, as I was recovering from the embarrassment of a large personal mistake.

This house is certainly on an unsure foundation!
