Thursday, 6th December 2016, will be an important day for our local parish, as we welcome our new minister, the Revd Martin Johnson. The music will include this hymn, which is very much my prayer:

O breath of life, come sweeping through us,
revive your church with life and power;

and fit your church to meet this hour.

O wind of God, come bend us, break us,
till humbly we confess our need;
